Description
This columbine appears to be a hybrid of wild and domesticated yellow varieties since it has been pointed out that the spurs are longer than pure wild strains. Still a nice columbine that can handle drier conditions than most of the other Alberta native species and tolerates semi shade or sunnier locations. Hummingbirds find columbines attractive as well.
